Born in Golden, Colorado Andrew Milmoe is the son of fine art photographer James O. Milmoe. As the computer geek of his industrial design class at the Carnegie Mellon University College of Fine Arts he began to combine art and technology.
From there he moved to New York City and in 2002 graduated with an MPS from the New York University Interactive Telecommunications Program and returning to teach Introduction to Physical Computing for three Fall semesters.
In 2007 Andrew married Allison and moved to San Francisco to have access to better weather, a larger concentration of people who build things, and to raise a family. He founded Make:SF to meet up with fellow makers on a monthly basis to share resources and their work.
Andrew has presented his art work in Europe and across the United States.
